DJ & Jocelyn Casto

March 26, 2022 | Leon, WV

DJ & Jocelyn Casto met in 2014 and discussed adoption on their first date. In 2015, they were married and in 2017, God made their hope to adopt a reality. Their plans were for a child under two years old but God had other plans. In 2019, a little 4-year-old girl’s face spoke to their hearts and she is now their spunky, LEGO-loving 8-year-old daughter Haddie Joy. “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Orphan | South Africa

The Castos arrived home with Haddie Joy in 2020 and God began to speak. Jocelyn felt God’s call early on, while DJ wanted to pray about it. A few weeks later, DJ said he was on board and felt God leading them as well! In December 2020, the journey began again. This time to adopt from South Africa with a new agency and a new list of country requirements. But, in just 6 months, the paperwork was finished! Then, 6 months after their paperwork was accepted, they received a match for a precious 3-year-old little girl! They are anticipating the day that they can bring her home!

Widows | West Virginia

Miss Angie lost her husband 2.5 years ago. Living on a farm, they knew hard work. After her husbands’ passing, Angie was left to take on all the work that was once shared with her husband. We hope to alleviate some of the burden that Angie has felt through this project.

Ms. Marie is a sweet, kind hearted lady who lost her husband Joe to cancer 25 years ago. She needs her barn repainted, as well as a few landscaping jobs finished. We were able to tell Marie that we would like to bless her with those wishlist items being completed.

We cannot wait to get to work at Ms. Angie & Ms. Marie’s houses and bless them both through this project!

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
