Clayton & Kari Cox

July 8, 2023 | Arlington Heights, IL

Clayton and Kari have been married for six years and have a beautiful two-year-old son, Judah, who is joyful, compassionate, adventurous, and loving. Adoption has always been something on their hearts. They would love for another baby to grow up in their home, knowing how loved they are by them and to teach them about how loved they are by God. Clayton and Kari have struggled throughout their journey to become parents walking through recurrent miscarriages. As they went through these many miscarriages, they felt a pull to start thinking about and pursuing adoption now. Though they have experienced sorrow and devastation several times, they are not without hope. God has been with them through every loss, and they are grateful for the opportunity to grow their family through adoption.

Maria

Widow | Illinois

Maria was married to her husband, Don, for 41 years before he suddenly passed away in January 2022. Maria recently retired due to health conditions but worked as an accountant and in finance throughout her career. The Lord used family and friends in their neighborhood to strategically impact their lives and they ultimately came to faith a few years after getting married. Maria goes to the same church as the Coxes and could really use support with some projects around her home as she deals with managing her retirement, health issues, and continuing to adjust to being a widow.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects.
