Years ago, God stirred Sarah’s heart for adoption when she learned about the orphan care crisis around the world. She believes in the beauty of adoption- two families coming together out of love for one child. She has been praying about starting this adoption journey for the past two years. In the quietness and isolation of the pandemic, it has become so clear to her that now is the time to start this journey. It has shown her that nothing is more important than family, and she is excited to pursue the promise of starting her own family through adoption.
A Waiting Child
Sarah has been matched with an expectant mom from Florida. In her profile, she specified that she wanted her baby to go to a mom or a couple that might have a hard time adopting, including single moms. She is due April 6 and is having a baby girl!
Diane was married to her husband Harry aka "Butch" for 37 years before he passed away after a 10-year battle with prostate cancer. She has been widowed for 15 years now and is still living in the home that they bought together 40 years ago. Diane has been living with Parkinson's disease and the home is too much for her to manage on her own at this point. She has made the decision to move to an assisted living facility, and we are honored to serve her by helping get her home ready to sell.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
