Seth & Shannon Herndon
We are Seth, Shannon, Ryon, and Samuel Herndon, and we are in the process of adopting our 5-year-old little boy, Asher, from China. Closed borders have kept us from finishing the adoption process, but no mountain of paperwork will keep us from finishing what God has started. We celebrate his birthday every year at the end of November, and we can’t wait to show him how much he was loved even before he got here.
Asher
We've been going through the long process of adopting Asher from China since late 2017, but we experienced 2 years of unpredictable delays before our adoption agency’s accreditation was suspended. In early 2020, we found a new agency, and we FINALLY were able to finish our home study, dossier, and all of the other paperwork in early 2021. We're anxious to get Asher home as soon as possible and hope to travel as soon as China opens its borders to adoptions again.
Lettie
Lettie has lived in her home in Murrieta, CA for 21 years. Her husband of 32 years was a good man and her best friend, but after a stroke in 2017 and many other complications since then, he was taken from her a little over a year ago. Both she and her husband had been joyful, faithful, and strong through their trials. Lettie is an amazing woman, and we’re going to love watching God bless her!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
