Adam & Kaylin Johns
Hi, we are Adam and Kaylin Johns. We’ve been married and in church ministry for almost 7 years. We have three biological daughters-Juliet, Thea and Camry. Throughout our marriage, Adam and I had mentioned being “up for adoption,” but it never went past a superficial conversation. However, our hearts got lit on fire for adoption after hearing our friend’s heart and stories from adopting their daughter from India. Once hearing the heartbreaking statistics and praying about adoption in our lives, we have been running full speed ahead.
Waiting Child
UPDATE: We have been matched with a 2-year-old little girl!!!
We have not been matched yet with our daughter, but we will be in a few short months. Through our home study, we got approved to adopt a little girl from India between 0-4 years old. In India disabilities are often looked at as curses, so we have opened our hearts, family and home to a child regardless of her disability she may have. EVERY child deserves a home. EVERY child deserves a family to adore them. NO disability disqualifies a child from being in a family.
Virginia
We have gotten to know Virginia through church, and we are excited to serve her. Virginia and her husband Bud were married for 63 years before he went to be with the Lord in 2021. They both were retired school teachers and have two daughters and one son. Virginia loves to spend time sitting on her back patio relaxing, completing puzzles and gardening. Our work team is going to help Virginia by completing fence repairs around her patio, sand/stain her deck, and deep clean her kitchen. We are thrilled and honored to bless her and encourage her with this project.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
