Stoebner Project Raises $23,500!

Andy and Jenny Stoebner have been married for 15 years and have 4 children.  Before they were even married, God began to burden their hearts for orphans and they sensed that they would one day adopt. After having 3 biological children, they traveled to China in 2011 to bring home their daughter Abigail. While in China, they knew they would be back sometime to visit or serve, but had no idea that God had a precious little boy waiting for them there! Jenny met this little boy on two mission trips, and he stole the family's hearts. For the past year, they have been pursuing the adoption of sweet Joshua!

When the Stoebers were searching for adoption fundraising, they came across Both Hands and loved how the organization helped both the widow and the orphan. As Jenny reflected on their Both Hands project, she expressed, “What a blessing doing a Both Hands Project was to our family! God provided exactly what was needed at each step: from putting together just the right team to meet Ms. Tana’s specific needs, to local merchants stepping up to donate supplies, to the donations coming in to support our adoption fund. It was amazing to watch God work to bless a widow and an orphan at the same time!"

Following the day of service, the family raised $23,500 of sponsorship! Then, with their matching grant form LifeSong, the Stoebners have a grand total of $28,000! Praise the Lord for the relief of any financial burden!
