Jon & Krista Agler

Fort Wayne, IN

Jon and Krista have been married for nine years and adopted their daughter Eden almost four years ago. The adventure began for the Aglers as they said 'yes' to the unknowns of a special needs adoption. Eden’s adoption was unexpected and quick, including hospital time and medical needs. The sweetness of becoming parents to Eden grew a deep love for special needs adoption. So, when they came across the file of a little boy named Kiu with similar medical history and needs, Jon and Krista were immediately drawn to him.

Kiu is currently two years old and living in an orphanage in Hong Kong. Since October 2018, Jon and Krista have been pursuing him with another excited “yes”! The cost to welcome this boy home is $26,000.

Ms. Sue

Widow Fort Wayne, IN

Ms. Sue is the widow we will be serving and happens to have been Krista’s fourth grade teacher! Sue’s husband died nine years ago after lengthy battles with illness. She continues to live in the home they shared together. Currently, Sue is retired from teaching in an official capacity, but serves by leading Bible studies in a variety of settings. On our work day, we will be landscaping, painting and organizing an entire room, taking care of some plumbing to get the master bathroom up and running, as well as other general maintenance.

Our Both Hands Project

Project October 5, 2019

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
