Joseph & Erica Blaschke

Clovis, NM

Joseph and Erica have been married for 12 years and have 3 biological girls. Adoption has always been close to their hearts, and they have always believed that adoption would be part of their family story. Erica grew up in Brazil and has always felt a burden for the orphans there. The Blaschkes were open to sibling groups, as they have always wanted a large family. Brazil was the obvious starting point for what they expected would be a long journey.

Four Siblings

Orphans Brazil

Since they started pursuing adoption through Brazil last October, the progress has been a whirlwind. They've gone from expecting a 3 to 5 year process, to being presented with 4 beautiful children and anticipate bringing them home before Christmas! Joseph & Erica have been so humbled and blessed by God's provision, and can't wait to see how He works out the last leg of the journey. These kids have been without a forever family and in the care of the courts for nearly two years and the Blaschkes are so eager to bring them home!

She has been a widow for a little over 6 years. She has two grown children (a son & a daughter) & 3 grandchildren (1 girl & 2 boys). She is sincerely grateful for the assistance on her house provided through the Both Hands organization. We're so thrilled to serve her!

Our Both Hands Project

Project October 12, 2019
