Daniel & Kourtney Brownlow
We are Kourtney and Daniel Brownlow. After losing our first pregnancy the conversation of adoption came more to the forefront and right before submitting our application we became pregnant. When our oldest was 9 months old we felt that we wanted to move forward and started our adoption journey; that was 7 years ago. There has been a lot of pain, loss and disappointment on the journey but 2 more biological kids later, and we have been matched with a little boy and cannot wait to bring him home and add this sweet boy to our family of girls!
Malachi
We filed for adoption in 2013 in Lesotho, Africa. We had all but given up hope that this would ever happen when in December of 2019 we got our referral for Malachi! He's 5 months older than our youngest daughter and we cannot wait to raise these Irish Twins together! With COVID-19 slowing things down almost immediately into 2020 we are still believing that God can do anything and we will bring him home before the end of the year.
Mrs. Wright
Mrs. Wright moved to Smyrna, TN and got married to her late husband in 1976 in the back yard of her current home. Her husband passed in October 2019. When she lived in Florida, she worked at a flight school and learned to fly small planes. Her husband retired from, and was a pilot in the military. The day before we contacted her, she was praying that God would help her with the things she needs done around her home.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
