Matt & Heidi Estep

Matt & Heidi Estep

Harrisburg, PA

Meet the Estep family. Matt is a Music Pastor and Heidi teaches 2nd grade at a local Christian school. They have two boys: Braeden (8) and Micah (5). Heidi began thinking about adoption a few years before Matt, who was inspired by a sermon and video clip he saw at church. As they started to discuss it during the summer of 2014, they realized God had given them both a passion and a calling to adopt.

A Waiting Child

Orphan China

Matt and Heidi first started out by looking at the Foster-to-Adopt program in our state but eventually felt led to pursue international adoption. They chose China because of their great need for adoptive families and its well-established program. Their announcement to adopt was made in the summer of 2015. They completed their application in December 2015 and were on the waiting list by November 2016.
