Trent & Ashley Geringer

Maylene, AL

Meet the Geringers: We have been married for 12 years. We have one biological daughter, Caroline, who is seven. In January 2013, we started feeling God call our hearts to adoption. We were shocked and a little scared, but the Lord has been faithful to prepare us for this journey to our daughter! We are planning this unique Both Hands fundraising service project to help bring our daughter home. We hope you'll join us in the journey through prayer and supporting our project.

This project is completed and no longer accepting donations. We'd love for you to consider giving to Both Hands to help us continue to serve more orphans, widows and adoptive families.

Catelyn Grey

Orphan China

In June 2014, the Geringers submitted their application to begin the adoption process. In November 2015, they were matched with their daughter. She is eleven months old and has a minor heart condition. She is beautiful and they can’t wait to meet her!!! Trent and Ashley know God has chosen them to love and care for her, and are so excited to begin this journey to their new family.

Ms. Murlee

Widow Birmingham, AL

The widow we had the opportunity to serve is Ms. Murlee Beard. She is 88 years old and she lost her husband of 60 years eight years ago. She is a mother, and grandmother, and a great grandmother. She has a fantastic sense of humor and we were thrilled to be able to serve her by doing repairs and landscaping around her home through this Both Hands project.

Our Both Hands Project

Project February 20, 2016

The Geringers planned a unique adoption fundraiser! On February 20th, a team of volunteers spent the day fixing up a widow's home. We are still raising sponsorship for this Both Hands fundraising service project. The funds raised will help the Geringers to adopt their daughter from China. IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO GIVE!

There are over 153 million orphans in the world. With you help, there will be one less!
