Tim & Dawn Haines

Honey Brook, PA

Meet Tim and Dawn Haines. They have been married for 27 years and have 11 children. Five of their children are biological, two children were adopted domestically, one son is from Guatemala and two sons are from China and one daughter from Albania. Adoption is a practical way for them to love an orphan in their distress and to live out James 1:27. They see adoption as an amazing illustration of what God has done for them, adopting us all into His family.

Give to Both Hands

Sophie

Orphan China

The Haines are excited to bring their daughter home from China. She is 29 months old and has a mild heart defect and a brain injury. They began the adoption process for little Sophie in May and they hope to travel in early spring. David Platt has stated it well when he said, "We do not adopt so that we can rescue, we adopt because we were rescued.”

Ms. Lucinda

Widow Honey Brook, PA

Ms. Lucinda was married to her husband Dean for 18 years. He died after a 4 month struggle with cancer. She is currently raising her three children ages 15, 18, and 20. She is in need of some tree work and house repairs. We're honored to serve her with this project!
