John & Meka Henderson
John and Meka have been married for 12 years and have one living biological child, Hadassah (6) and three babies in Heaven. Even before having Hadassah, we had discussed the option and blessing of adoption. After three miscarriages due to blood clotting disorders, we feel that adoption is the way God has intended to grow our family and give a child a loving, Christian home and a greater opportunity to know Him as his/her Savior!
A Waiting Child
We are looking at two options through our adoption agency, Bethany Christian Services. We do have a completed home study and have been waiting two years to be chosen by a birth mother through domestic infant adoption. We are also considering adopting through foster care through our agency as well. We are deep in prayer that God will show us the right path to take and lead us to the right child for our family!
Ms. Margaret
Ms. Margaret, a widow for nearly four years, attends church with the Hendersons and resides in Hot Springs, NC. Her husband battled kidney cancer that spread to his lungs, brain, and eye. She took care of him all through his illness. She is retired but has a part-time job, that will be terminated in November, to help make ends meet. She has been a blessing to us, and we can’t wait to return the favor!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
