Jim & Christina Hotchkin

Pflugerville, TX

Jim and Christina have been married for six years. They have two biological children, Kaden (5) and Olivia (2). They always knew adoption would be a part of their story but didn't know when. In November 2018, The Hotchkin's church was celebrating Adoption Month and they felt as if God was saying "Now is the time." They have been leaning on Psalm 27:14 -- "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord."

A Waiting Child

Orphan Texas

The Hotchkins are currently waiting to be matched with a birth mother in their home state of Texas. Though they don't know who their child will be, they cannot wait to meet them and raise them in love!

Ms. Valerie

Widow Pflugerville, TX

Valerie lost her husband, Tony, to cancer on December 15, 2015 after 37 years of marriage. She has four adult children, and her youngest son still lives with her. God has blessed her with two granddaughters. The oldest is 3 and was born two weeks after Tony passed. Her youngest granddaughter is a year old. Though retired from teaching preschool, she works part time at Hill Country Bible Church in the children's ministry and volunteers at several church events. She also trains teachers at her former school and watches her granddaughters throughout the week, which keeps her very busy.
