Brandon & Kelsey Hrubes

Clear Lake, IA

Brandon and Kelsey have been married for almost two years. Brandon works for Heartland Ag and Kelsey works for Youth for Christ. On a mission trip to Ukraine in January, they felt God calling them to adopt three siblings. Although adoption was something they had talked about, it was in the distant future in their minds. God had other plans and they truly feel like He has guided them through each step of this process.

Three Siblings

Orphans Ukraine

We are adopting three older siblings from Ukraine – two of which we met while on our mission trip. Their ages are boy 10, girl 11, and boy 16. All three of them are in special needs orphanages and the oldest is separated from the two younger siblings and has not seen them in over a year. The total cost to bring them home is close to $60,000.

Ms. Kay

Widow Clear Lake, IA

In June of 2017, Kay found her husband of 53 years laying on the bathroom floor from a heart attack. With health issues of her own, moving to assisted living, and grieving the loss of her husband, she still has a home that needs to be prepared to sell. Her three daughters live in different states so it makes it very difficult to get back to Iowa. There is no way this large project would get done without our help!
