Scott & Bonnie Kirby

Scott & Bonnie Kirby

Franklin, TN

Bonnie and Scott have both always had a heart for adoption. They have two biological little boys, Beckett and Baylor, but that hasn't changed their desire to pursue adoption. They feel that God is calling them to trust Him and do it now. This is their blind leap of faith. Scary. Exciting. Full of unknowns. But they know that there is a little girl to love at the end of this journey. And they can't wait to see how God unfolds this story.

A Waiting Daughter

Orphan USA

Bonnie and Scott are using New Beginnings adoption agency in Tennessee, and plan to pursue a domestic adoption of a baby girl. They have completed their home study and are now waiting to match. They desire to have an open adoption with the birth mother, hoping to have a close and authentic relationship with her.

Mr. Vaughan

Widower Franklin, TN

Eva Vaughan passed away in the middle of March 2017 from a two year battle with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Her husband, Andy, is now left alone to raise their eleven year old little boy, Michael. The Vaughans domestically adopted Michael a few years ago, providing him with stability and a loving family. Something he had never known before. Michael and Andy are now learning how to navigate their new life as a family of two. In the video below, you can watch Eva and Michael celebrate the day he was adopted.

Our Both Hands Project

Project May 6, 2017

On May 6th, around 35 people will be present to work at Andy and Michael's home. We will organize the currently packed garage and make it a hang out spot for Michael and his friends. We will weed, mulch, and plant flowers in the front yard, providing the Vaughans with a beautiful space to enjoy. The house will also receive a deep cleaning and decluttering. Ultimately, we want to love Andy and Michael well and accomplish all of the things on Eva's to-do list that she wrote before she passed away.
