Max & Megan Koehntop

Max & Megan Koehntop

Morris, MN

Having a large family was always the plan for us. Since our wedding day, we have tried to start a family the way we imagined it would be. With the exception of our little miracle man, Wilfred, things have been a roller coaster of emotions with lots of failed attempts and losses. After struggling with infertility for 5 years we’ve decided that our family will be growing through adoption. We genuinely feel honored to be led down this path and can’t wait to meet our new little one.

A Waiting Child

Orphan USA

We are matched with an expectant mother who is due with a baby boy in December. Our goal is to start loving baby from day one. Unfortunately, expenses get overwhelming with the people and services involved. Some fees include: agency/consultant, traveling/lodging expenses, birthmother expenses, legal, interstate, finalization, home study, background checks, etc. We've had our first rummage sale fundraiser and have an ongoing t-shirt fundraiser as well. Even with all this support while diligently saving, we still have a ways to go. The total amount to bring baby home will be around $40,000.00.

Rachel, Audrey & Stella

Widows Morris, MN

Rachel is the mom of three kids. She was widowed a year ago after her husband suffered an unexpected heart attack when she was 7 months pregnant with their daughter. We will be helping her with yard work. Audrey has 2 kids and 2 grandkids. Her husband was taken suddenly at a young age by cardiac arrest. We will be building her shelves to provide organization and space. Stella is a member of Faith Lutheran where Max & Megan attend. She is 96 and has been widowed for over 30 years. We will be sprucing up her yard as well.

Our Both Hands Project

Project September 15, 2018

A team of volunteers will be providing a day of service to these three women in our community. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. ALL the funds raised will go towards Max and Megan's adoption expenses. It will give a baby a loving, forever home, family and community. Will YOU sponsor us?
