My name is Jacqui. I am a single woman pursuing an adoption of a child with special needs, from India. I have always prayed about adopting and after spending some time in India, my heart heard the call to adopt. I am so excited to see the will of the Father lived out in my life, and that of my child!
A Waiting Child
In April of 2017, I applied to adopt from India. Since then, I’ve been working and fundraising to cover the $43,000 (incl. travel) fee. While this total is daunting, Matthew 17:20 says, “He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’"
Ms. Francine
The loss of a beloved spouse often makes it difficult for a widow to keep up with the needed repairs and improvements to her home. We are excited to bless a widow in our community in a bigMs. Francine is the mother of Jacqui's dad’s cousin. A year and a half ago, Ms. Francine lost the love of her life, Jerry. Since that time she has been experiencing the ups and downs of grief and could use some TLC at this time. She needs a reminder of how much people care for her, but also of just how greatly she is loved by the Father. We can’t wait to see our Lord work through this service project.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
