Orphan Elijah

Meet Elijah, a 15-year-old quadriplegic orphan in Nashville, TN. Elijah's parents were unable to care for him, so he has been living with a 24-hour caretaker in a small house on at the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.

Widows 13.6 million in USA

More than 13.6 million widowed women in the United States go unnoticed in their pain and aloneness—trying to pull the pieces together, struggling to move forward. They may feel alone, but they are not alone. The Modern Widow's Club is changing widows' lives through mentorship, leadership and empowerment. We hope to serve as a bridge of understanding, comfort, compassion and positive change between a widow and society at large.

Project October 29, 2016

On October 29, a team of widows in Nashville will spend the day serving Elijah by fixing up the home where he is living. Our team will be landscaping, cleaning, painting, and decorating. We are asking that you sponsor us for this day by making a one-time, tax deductible gift to Both Hands. The money raised through this project will help further the mission of the Modern Widow's Club.
