Scott & Susan Morey

Buford, GA

We are the Moreys: Scott, Susan and Shiloh (4). We have been married for almost 12 years and discussed the possibility of adoption early on, especially after a trip to Vietnam where Susan worked with several orphanages. In the fall of 2017, God began dealing with us about growing our family through adoption and, after much prayer and consideration, started the process to adopt from China in early 2018. We are excited, humbled, and expectant for what God is doing and can’t wait to see how He brings us all together as a forever family because we know God writes the best stories!

Little Girl

Orphan China

Susan had a heart for Asia after her work there in college, so we felt like that may be where God was asking us to start our adoption journey. We prayed and researched several programs and felt like God kept leading us back to China. While we have not yet been matched with our little girl, we are trusting God for his perfect timing and anticipate traveling within 4 to 6 months of match.

Ms. Susan

Widow Dacula, GA

Susan lost her husband 23 years ago to leukemia and raised three girls on her own. She has worked so hard for her family and our church, serving faithfully every week behind the scenes. Her home is 21 years old and in need of several repairs that she hasn’t been able to manage on her own. Susan shared that she’s been praying for two years that God would help her with these needed repairs, and we are beyond grateful to be a part of His answer through our Both Hands project!

Our Both Hands Project

Project March 9, 2019

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
