Heath & Meghann Nelson

Becker, MN

When Meghann and Heath were married in June of 2003, they always knew they wanted children. In fact, they wanted a bunch of them! God did bless them with two beautiful daughters, however, while their family definitely feels like more than a half Nelson, it doesn't feel quite full. For years, they have prayed that God would bless them with a son. After losing his father at too young of an age, Heath has always desired to share the love his father had for him, with a son of his own. Thank you for your help in making their family a full Nelson.

Tobias

Orphan China

Tobias is 5 years old. He will be 6 in November. He was born with a few congenital defects, and because of those has spent his entire life in an orphanage. God has been so good during this process and is moving mountains to get Toby home to his family that loves him so dearly. He will require some medical attention when he comes home. Heath and Meghann are very excited to meet Toby and to bring him home to his forever family.

Ms. Val

Widow Becker, MN

Val lost her husband to cancer 15 years ago. She is 84 years young and still lives in the home her husband was born in. Her home is in need of some TLC. She lives down the road from the Nelson’s. She is sharp as a tack and loves to sit and visit with friends and family that pop in for visits. She enjoys watching the birds outside her kitchen window and is completely humbled that the Nelson’s friends and family want to serve her in this way.

Our Both Hands Project

Project September 28, 2019

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
