Steve & Bethany Owens

Salem, AL

We are Steve and Bethany Owens. We’ve been married for 18 years and have three kids. Payton (16), Parker (10) and Porter (3). We first felt the Lord calling us to adopt in 2014, we met our sweet son, Porter, in China on July 20, 2015. We’ve had the privilege of watching God transform his orphan heart into one of a beloved son! While in China, Steve felt the Lord telling him that we would one day be back for a daughter.

Piper

Orphan China

Months after our adoption, I (Bethany) had a dream of a little girls running around our house playing with our kids. The Lord whispered the name Piper into my heart! We started the adoption process for a daughter in May 2017. We are Logged into China’s database and are patiently waiting to see our little girls face! We are blessed to be on this journey again, we know God has big plans for our Piper!

Ms. Vera

Widow Salem, AL

Ms. Vera is the widow our team will be serving. Vera lost her second husband 13 years ago. She retired from Good Year after 18 years of working there. She is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Today, her home is in need of some tender loving care and we feel honored to be able to bless her through this Both Hands project.

Our Both Hands Project

Project March 3, 2018

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Help bring Piper home!
