Joe & Katie Pater

Sun Prairie, WI

Our family is in the process of adopting two amazing teenagers. We hosted Monta and Robert through a orphan hosting program. Through this, they were able to spend 8 weeks with our family. They experienced the love of a mother and father, the joys of being a big brother and sister. They were able to feel the support that only family and love can provide. In return we feel in love with them. It was so difficult to say goodbye when they needed to leave last summer. We knew that we had a place for them in our hearts and in our family.

Monta and Robert

Orphans Latvia

We see so much potential in these kids and pray that we can be a light in their life and help them succeed. This is far from a traditional adoption and will have its own sets of challenges and needs for support. This experience has been so enriching for our younger children who look up to Monta and Rob so much. They bring so much to our family and we want to make this adoption happen more then anything. After 10 years living in an orphanage, it is time to bring them home.

Ms. Patty

Widow Sun Prairie, WI

Patty is a wonderful lady who has spent her life helping serve others. She is a United States Veteran who is currently serving at the VA hospital in Madison WI. This past year Patty battled with Brain Cancer. This was a very difficult time especially being widowed. Her fight with cancer limited her ability to be able to keep up maintenance on her home. Patty has a heart of gold and this will be a wonderful chance to give back to someone who has served our country and community selflessly.

Our Both Hands Project

Project February 23, 2019

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
