A Waiting Child

Orphan China

Somewhere in China, there is a child who does not know the love of a family, a child who does not always get held when they cry, a child who has never heard the name of Jesus whispered in their ear. While we do not yet know who this child is or what this child looks like, God knows. He has a plan in place to allow this child to, one day soon, no longer be an orphan but a treasured son or daughter.

Ms. Micki

Widow Kings Mountain, NC

Ms. Micki is the widow we are serving for our Both Hands Project. Micki lost her husband 11 years ago to a brain tumor. She is a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed only 2 years after her husband passed away. Micki is a preschool teacher at Gaston Christian School, and lives with their youngest daughter and her mother, whom she cares for. Today, her home is in need of some tender loving care and we feel honored to be able to bless her through this service project.

Our Both Hands Project

Project May 11, 2019

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
