Adam & Mariah Ramer

Tipton, IN

Growing up we had always wanted to adopt. When we were married, we had a plan to first have biological children and then adopt through the foster care system. God had other plans for us. We experienced infertility issues and felt led by God to expand our family through adoption. We did research on international adoption, with the same thoughts of wanting to obtain experience in parenting before we foster to adopt.

A Waiting Child

Orphan South Korea

Our adoption story isn't an easy one, but neither is the child's story. We have faith that we will be placed with the child who is meant to be in our family, in God's timing. We chose South Korea because of their ethical adoption program. This creates more work for us, however, we value the intentional care that the children receive because of the intense vetting of adoptive parents. We are in the process of completing our dossier and hope to receive a referral before this summer.
