We first met 13 years ago when we both worked at Culver’s. We love playing golf together and attending UW football and volleyball games in the fall. We’ve been married for 8 years and have wanted to have a family since the beginning. Unfortunately, it hasn’t happened for us yet and the doctors we’ve visited don’t have an answer as to why. We still have a lot of love to give a child, so we’ve turned to growing our family through adoption.
A Waiting Child
After a year of searching for a birth mother, we recently have been lucky enough to be matched with a birth mother from Milwaukee, who is due in June. She is currently on a methadone treatment which means the baby will be born with an addiction and will need extra time in the hospital to go through withdrawal. We’re so excited to bring the baby home and can’t wait.
Ms. Carrie
Ms. Carrie currently lives in Milton, WI, is an active member at Christ The Rock Church in Janesville and works part-time. She was married to her husband Harold for 43 years. Harold had been disabled since 1999. In 2019 they were moving to a more disablilty friendly house when Harold contracted Legionnaire's Disease. He was in the hospital on and off ventilators in Madison, WI while Carrie continued to work and move into the new house. He passed away 12 weeks later. We are excited to serve Ms. Carrie in a big way!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
