Thompson Orphan USA
We leaped on faith and mailed out Christmas cards on December 18th at noon sharing we were adopting. An hour later, we received a call that our profile was chosen by birth parents. We met them the next day and had a wonderful visit. God provided peace during the visit. Our adoption specialist called 15 minutes after we left and asked if we were ready to take home 3 week old baby boy Thompson for Christmas! The next day December 20th we became insta-parents with less than 24 hours’ notice! Praise God we said yes!
Ms. Cari Widow Nashville, TN
Ms. Cari is the widow we will be serving. She was diagnosed with mental illness in the 80's, and the lack of knowledge and treatment for such things left her widowed with no family connections over 20 years ago. Yet Cari has found true spiritual family at Bethel World Outreach Church. Cari has experienced the truth of God's Word -- that God's love heals any rejection, and that no one is so broken that His grace can't mend. Being widowed for 22 years, Cari’s home and yard can use some TLC.
Our Both Hands Project Project April 21, 2018
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help the Skeesicks cover the costs of Thompson's adoption. Will you sponsor us?
