Grant & Laura Smith

Henning, MN

My husband and I have been married for almost 31 years. We have five bio children (four sons and a daughter) and another daughter, Lily, whom we adopted from China four years ago. Our three eldest sons are married and our fourth son has graduated from high school and is attending vocational trade school. I had never really thought we would ever adopt as we had such a large family already, but God moves our hearts in mysterious and amazing ways.

Ming Zhu

Orphan China

When we adopted for the first time, we had a feeling we would be going back to China for one more, and here we are-on the adoption journey again-this time for an 11-year-old daughter. We have been blessed by adoption and like many others, see it as a tangible example of God's adoption and love for each one who is willing to accept His love and forgiveness and call Him Savior.

Ms. Gladi

Widow Henning, MN

The widow we will be serving is Gladi Yeo. We will help her take care of some yard work, landscaping, and garden cleanup. We have known Gladi for over 20 years. Her husband, Jim, died 16 years ago. Gladi values her relationship with Jesus and is an example of someone who looks at the glass "half full". Gladi keeps us smiling and we are honored to be able to help her welcome in spring!

Our Both Hands Project

Project May 12, 2018

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Help bring Ming Zhu home!
