TN Foster Children Orphans USA
The TN Alliance for Kids creates a bridge between faith-based groups and Children's Services to provide for emergent needs with children in various capacities, especially for children who are aging out. With your help, TAK can provide necessities such as beds and school supplies.
Ms. Ruby Widow Nashville, TN
Ruby Jaco is a 72-year-old widow whose husband passed away suddenly in December 2015. Ruby still works full-time while fostering her 3 great grandchildren, ages 18 months to 7 years of age. Ruby rarely asks the TN Department of Children’s Services for assistance. Since the death of her husband, Ruby has had little time to care for the exterior of her home and yard. Projects include landscaping, exterior painting and small outside repairs.
Our Both Hands Project Project June 17, 2017
The purpose of this project is dual fold, to serve a widow who is also a foster parent, and to raise funds for the Tennessee Alliance for Kids that will allow us to meet our overhead and serve more children in the foster system.
