A Waiting Child Orphan South Korea
The adoption process, so far, has been mostly paperwork and waiting. We started the process back in January, and are currently waiting to receive a referral for a child. Adoptions from South Korea typically take from 12 to 18 months. So far, we are 8 months into the process. We are open to a boy or girl, and at the time we're matched with them, they will probably be 7-8 months old. We can't wait to see the photo of our child!
Ms. Paula Widow Lexington, KY
Ms. Paula is the widow we are serving. Paula lost her husband just over a year ago. She is a wonderful grandmother that loves and serves her family in such a sacrificial way. Today, her home is in need of some tender loving care and we feel honored to be able to serve her through the Both Hands project! When Ms. Paula heard that we wanted to serve her, she was speechless. We are excited for the opportunity to love and care for her.
Our Both Hands Project Project October 20, 2018
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
