Dan & Elizabeth Thorndike

Dan & Elizabeth Thorndike

Lynden, WA

Dan and Elizabeth have had adoption on their hearts since day 1. Currently they have 3 biological children and 1 adopted child. They were connected with a friend's FB page in order to pray for specific children waiting to be adopted. One day, about 4 months later, I logged onto her site and I saw Shiloh's video. My heart paused and I knew I heard God saying..."she is your daughter"! We brought Shiloh home to Washington 11 months later.

Samuel

Orphan China

The journey to wanting to adopt Samuel is similar to Shiloh's in that the Thorndikes felt God's nudge on their hearts. Two weeks after feeling the nudge, they were introduced to Samuel's story, and after a few moments of prayer and tenderness, they submitted their nurture plan to be Samuel's parents. Their children are so excited to have another brother, and Dan and Elizabeth are excited to bring their son home forever. Adoption has touched so many extended people in their lives who love Shiloh and have promised to love Samuel! Adoption is amazing!!!

Ms. Corlee

Widow Lynden, WA

Corlee is a local widow who lost her husband 2 years ago. Her property is too big for her to maintain on her own and there are some projects that need attention that are beyond her financial and physical abilities. Although she is 81 years old, she continues to work to make ends meet.

Our Both Hands Project

Project August 4, 2018

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Help bring Samuel home!
