Waiting Children Orphans Colombia
When our niece was adopted internationally, we were made aware of the worldwide orphan crisis. We knew that we wanted to take action that would result in one or two more children having a loving family and no longer being orphans. We started the process almost two and a half years ago, and we have been faithfully been waiting for our family to be matched with a child(ren). We pray for “our baby” (even though he/she/they might not actually be a baby) every day, and our daughter can’t wait to “bring them home soon.”
Ms. Fran Widow Chambersburg, PA
A mutual friend of ours connected us with Ms. Fran, and we learned that, sadly, Ms. Fran’s husband, Art, passed away last summer. When we met with her for the first time, she spoke reminiscently of Art and told us about his passion for raising fish and planting trees. Ms. Fran is a Godly woman and shared with us that her faith is what has helped her to get through the past ten months. We are looking forward to serving her!
Our Both Hands Project Project June 2, 2018
On June 2, 2018, we will have the opportunity to serve Ms. Fran by tearing down and disassembling a shed, which has partially collapsed, that is attached to her barn. In addition to the shed, we will have the opportunity to cut down and remove a very large bush that has overtaken Ms. Fran’s hillside. We are thankful that Ms. Fran is allowing us to serve her, which also blesses us by helping us to raise money for our adoption. We are looking forward to project day!
