Steve & Myra Young

Suffolk, VA

Steve and Myra have been married for 14 years. Eleven of those years they dreamt of having biological children, but God had other plans. In January 2017 during a missions trip to Thailand, God conceived the desire in them to grow their family through adoption. Now they are expecting a son, Nathan, from China. They'll be traveling this September to bring him home!

Nathan

Orphan China

Our son, Nathan, was born on May 20, 2017 and was taken into a foster home at one month old. He was born with some intestinal issues and had surgery for it at 4 months old. He is developing very well despite that setback...I think this is because he has been so well loved by his caretakers. They've noted that he is an extrovert, loves to go outside, and has a ready smile. We cannot wait to be united with him!

Ms. Becky

Widow Suffolk, VA

Ms. Becky is the widow we are serving. Becky lost her husband 2 years ago and still lives on the 3.9 acres her and her husband purchased in 1973. Recently she had a heat stroke and is unable to work outside if the temperature is above 75˚. Today, her home is in need of some tender loving care and we feel honored to be able to bless her through this Both Hands project

Our Both Hands Project

Project November 4, 2017

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
