Brock and Allison started dating in high school and were married in college in 2002. Adoption has always been something they were interested in but never sure how to “do it.” After having three biological kids, God really laid it on their hearts to adopt. Their daughter was born in 2016 and just shy of 2 years later God laid it on their hearts to adopt again – not knowing they would end up with siblings! Just like they were adopted into Christ’s family, these two children were adopted into theirs.
Domestic Adoption
Many parents have had a “surprise pregnancy,” but not many have had a “surprise adoption”! On October 19, the Y family received a call from the adoption agency telling them their youngest two children’s birth mom was pregnant again and requesting them to parent this child as well. They knew that if God wanted this child in their home, He would have to provide everything. Brock is between pastoral jobs at the present time and it seemed to them that this was the “wrong time” for God to send a baby their way. Then God brought them to Isaiah 55:8, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.” This is what they have clung to as they move forward trusting He will provide everything they need. Their baby boy is due December 7, 2021.
Lenora
Lenora lost her husband in November 2017. The loss of a beloved spouse often makes it difficult for a widow to keep up with the needed repairs and improvements to her home. We are excited to bless Lenora in a big way!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
