Our hearts for adoption began as newlyweds when we volunteered at an orphanage in Ethiopia. The children were so precious, and we wanted to take them all home with us! We went on to have two amazing biological daughters, Isabel (9) and Briella (6). Then in 2020, we again felt a call to adopt, and specifically from Haiti!
Daniel
We began our adoption journey in August of 2020. A year’s worth of paperwork later, our Dossier arrived in Haiti! We were told to expect to wait at least 3 years for a referral. Surprisingly, we received a referral just 16 months later for a precious 5 year old boy named Daniel! We have been getting to know Daniel over video since February. He is such a sweet boy and we can’t wait to give him a forever family!
Ms. Pat
Pat is a retired school teacher and mother of five. She is known and loved by many for the strength of her faith and her heart to serve her family, her neighbors and her church. Pat continues to bless many with her hospitality, love, and talents in quilt making. Pat’s husband, Gordie, went to be with the Lord in 2009, following an illness. They were married 51 years. Pat’s home is in need of some TLC and we are excited to serve her in this way!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
