Micah & Achelle Barsness
Hello! We are the Barsness family! We have been married for 10 years and are blessed with three awesome kiddos, two of whom came to us through the gift of adoption. Our journey to adoption began several years ago after miscarriage and infertility challenges. Our love and passion for adoption have only grown stronger as we’ve seen God work through our previous adoptions. We feel called to pursue adoption once again and are excited to grow our family by one more!
Baby Barsness
We are currently pursuing a domestic infant adoption through Nightlight Christian Adoptions. We expect to wait anywhere from 1-3 years for a placement, but rest in God’s timing and faithfulness. We’re excited to welcome whoever God brings into our home and family! The total cost for our adoption expenses is estimated to be at least $45,000.
Lisa
Lisa is a kind and loving family friend of ours. Lisa and her husband Bill celebrated 32 years of marriage before he passed away in December 2021. Lisa is blessed with nine children and is also a proud grandma to one granddaughter. We’re truly honored and thrilled to give back to Lisa through this project!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
