Jacob & Shelby Dorsey

July 27, 2024 | Lexington, IN
Meet the Dorsey Family. Married in 2019, Jacob serves in the military and Shelby is a pediatric occupational therapist. They had their daughter Lorraina in 2020. As a family they are active members of their church and community. God placed the seeds for adoption in their lives and the seed blossomed in 2023 when they answered His loud persistent call. They are excited to bring home their daughter from India and continue to watch God’s plan for her life unravel. Lorraina, 3, is the most excited to bring home her baby sister asking daily to go pick her up.
**Donations to this project will be matched up to $3,000!!**

Donna, Rosemary, & Shirley

Widows | Indiana

Donna was married for 66 years, and a member at FCC 57 years. She served in the mission ministry, hospitality ministry, grounds and building ministry, was a youth group leader, and an office assistant.
"My name is Rosemary. I married my next door neighbor, Allen, Aug 7, 1981. We were married 30 years before he passed away in 2011. Although we had no biological children, we raised my youngest brother, then my cousin, my niece and I have recently adopted my son (11 yrs old) and my daughter (7 yrs old). I retired from the State of Indiana FSSA in 2014. Then taught preschool at Grace Christian Academy until 2021. I have gone to Scottsburg First Christian Church since I was a week old. I have taught Sunday School, choir, VBS, played the piano, led the singing, and led song services at the local camp grounds. I've been faculty at church camp many years. I've even played softball and volleyball on the church teams."
We will also be serving Shirley, a relative of Rosemary's. We are so excited to bless these widows!

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects.
