Brittany and I met August 5, 2020 via Facebook after discovering we had gone to school together years before. Shortly after meeting, we got engaged and married quickly after that. Our marriage has grown ever since. We put God front and center of our marriage and our parenting. After years of trying to conceive God revealed to us that adoption is what He has in store for us, to expand our family. His plan and will, is far greater than anything we could imagine or plan. We started the adoption process in December 2023. Since that point we have completed our home study, and are currently in the “fundraising stage” of our adoption as we wait to find the match that God has for our family.

"I was married to a veteran, Mr Lonnie Blake, who passed in 2023. I remember him saying how he enjoyed coming to Owensboro. This is a statement coming from a Vietnam veteran who had traveled all over the world. We lost our son in a motorcycle accident in this very place. This is my community. I love going to visit the local nursing home. I enjoy volunteering at my church and helping others. That is how I was raised. I have the most beautiful neighbors on each side of me than you could imagine. I know God is real and He is able! Praying works. I am eager to help.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
