Will & Kali Henke
Will and Kali have been talking about adoption since before they started dating in high school. Will was adopted by his step-dad after his birth dad passed away when he was 5 and his mom later remarried, and even from an early age, God placed a burden in Kali’s heart for orphans and adoption. Having now been married for more than four years, they have decided to start their family through adoption!
Domestic Adoption
Will and Kali are home study approved by Adoption Assistance and are working with An Open Door Adoption Agency to match with an expectant family in the state of Georgia. One of the flower girls and one of the ring bearers in their wedding were adopted through An Open Door approximately 5 and 12 years ago, and they are so grateful for the ministry of this agency over the years.
Eric
Eric’s wife Ashley passed in April 2023 after a hard-fought battle with colon cancer. Ashley brought the hope and joy of Christ to all who knew her, and Will and Kali would like to extend a little bit of that same hope and joy to Eric and his kids- George (7), Jane (6), and Jack (4)- as they continue to adjust to life without their beloved wife and mother. Eric’s family and the Henkes are members of the same church and live just three streets away.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
