Isaiah 117 House “Team Ken”

July 27, 2024 | Tippecanoe County, IN

Isaiah 117 House seeks to change the way foster care begins by providing a loving, supportive environment for children in our community, easing the burden on the Department of Child Resources, and equipping placement families to say yes, all on removal day.

House Construction

Housing for kids in foster care | United States

We are currently in the construction phase of building our house, and some of the more expensive processes are coming up. We'll need to purchase and install insulation, drywall, flooring, interior doors and trim, and bathroom facilities. Outside of the actual construction, it takes around $300 to serve each child who visits the Isaiah 117 House. We provide a clean, safe home; brand new clothing, toys, and comfort items; meals and snacks; and laundry services for all our guests. We also provide food and other items for caseworkers, and beds, car seats, and other necessities for placement families.

Ken

Widower | Indiana

Ken has a heart for people and the Lord. He is a recent widower; his beloved wife passed away on her birthday in February 2024. He is 91 and unable to do much physically, but he is a mouthpiece for Jesus. Although he lives on a limited fixed income, he is sure to tithe to Isaiah 117 House each month after learning of this ministry, and he is vocal to tell others about it. He is thrilled to be able to help Isaiah 117 in this way as we serve his needs.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widower's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help kids in foster care have a safe place to land while awaiting placement. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
