David & Megan Kinjorski

March 16, 2024 | Poulsbo, WA

We are Megan and David and we have been married for almost 13 years. Almost right away we wanted to have kids, but we quickly discovered that we were unable to have children biologically. We wrestled with our infertility and prayed and sought God for answers. Through it all, even when we were younger we felt a tug in our heart to adoption, but we were young and fearful about all it would take to adopt back then. After 10 years, we both felt pulled to adopt and a year later, in 2021 we brought home our first born daughter Olive through adoption. Our heart to grow our family continued to beat and our heart for adoption became solidified through the beauty of our first adoption. We rejoice that we are able to reflect the heart of God who would reach out to choose us who could not save ourselves and adopt us to become his children through the incredible price of the blood of Jesus!

Domestic Adoption | United States

In August of 2023 we felt pulled to begin the adoption process again and by September we had begun with our home study. Everything has been a whirlwind of Gods blessing! After much paperwork we became eligible to receive cases in the beginning of January. On January 30 we received a case for a baby born, in need of a family to come pick her up by Feb 1. We presented and we found out the morning of Jan 31 that the birth mother chose us! We got to bring our second born baby girl home by the 6th of February! The total cost for this adoption was $38K plus about $10K in travel and legal fees.

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help pay off our personal loan, travel fees, and legal fees. We believe God will provide as He stirs the hearts and minds of friends across the world, even those we do not yet know, perhaps even you.

Widow | Washington

Carol is a sweet grandmother of our congregation and has been a part of our lives for over 7 years. She has been widowed since 2018. Carol has has been a huge supporter of our family as long as we have known her and has understood our journey being an adoptive mother herself. Carol’s home was built in 1945 and needs lots of TLC. Our project will include painting, handrails, landscaping, plumbing repairs, etc. Carol is excited and blessed to be the focus of our project, and we are excited to serve her!

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
