Adam & Courtney Reed

February 10, 2024 | Pensacola, FL
We have been married for eight years. We have a 7-year-old, Brody, and two fur babies, Breezy and Wolfie. Brody can’t wait for the day to be a big brother. Our family has such a huge heart for helping others. Courtney loves to serve families and children in the community, while Adam enjoys youth development through coaching sports and officiating. When we became parents in 2016, it made us see with fresh eyes the increased needs of vulnerable children and families in our community who needed help.
When we decided to add to our family a few years back, it wasn’t exactly happening the way we envisioned. It became very apparent that if we were to want a larger family, we needed to find another way. Then, we began to explore adoption. The more we researched, the more we realized God was leading us to adopt. After navigating the paperwork, we realized our next obstacle was funding the adoption.

Domestic Adoption | United States

We are an actively “waiting family” with Catholic Charities. We are excitedly waiting for the next chapter to grow our family through adoption.

Cindy

Widow | Florida

Cindy is a mother of four and is raising her brother’s two children, Diane (10) and John (12). She has such a heart for her family. If raising two young children doesn't keep her busy enough, Cindy invites animals that need a loving home to join hers. Cindy’s love of her life and fiancee Bruce, passed away suddenly in 2019, and Cindy inherited his home. The home could use some extra tender loving care. We chose Cindy for our project because her story touched our hearts, and we would love to take away some of the burden and labor of the home so that she can continue focusing on her family. What better way of serving our purpose here on earth than adopting a child while paying it forward to a family in need?

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
