We are the Rhees: Joe, Jody, and Benjhamin. We have been married for 15 years, and we became an adoptive family 7 years ago when we brought home our son, Ben, from Korea! Over the past 3 years, we have been foster parents to 3 children. We feel God’s call to open wide our hearts again to bring a child into our forever family.
Waiting Daughter
God has led us to adopt from the Philippines through All God’s Children International. We are awaiting approval for a 6-year old girl. When we saw her photo, we felt that we were seeing a photo of our daughter. We wait in expectation and excitement.
Valerie
Valerie is mom and grandma to dear friends of ours - Erica and Jason, and their children Elizabeth, Mikayla, and James. Valerie’s husband of 54 years, Floyd, passed away this past winter. Valerie has a heart for serving others, especially children; she served in her church’s youth group for 19 years, and she is currently serving at two after school Bible clubs in her town. We are so excited to bless and encourage her with this project!
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?
