Derek Bell

Derek currently serves as the Vice President of Development for Partners International, an 80-year-old organization working to advance the Gospel in unreached people groups around the world.  

In addition, Derek serves as the President and Founder of Mosaic Strategy Group, LLC, a boutique strategy-consulting firm; Derek utilizes his experience in the business and faith-based publishing industry as well as strategy development. Mosaic Strategy Group has worked with nonprofits and content creators such as Bob Buford, Leadership Network, The Drucker Institute, Amazima Ministries International (founded by New York Times Best Selling author Katie Davis), iDonate, Dallas Willard Ministries, and numerous publishers. For 14 years, Derek served as an associate of The Buford Foundation. He served as an adjunct professor of marketing and management at Belmont University, where he earned his MBA as a Sigma Beta Delta inductee.  From 2009-2013, in addition to heading Mosaic Strategy Group, Derek served as a pastor on staff at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Before founding Mosaic, Derek honed his skills and knowledge in the publishing industry. He served as the Director of Marketing for Integrity Publishers, where he was responsible for the marketing of numerous New York Times Bestsellers, including works by Max Lucado, Ravi Zacharias, Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Pat Roberston, Bob Buford, Frank Peretti, Brennan Manning, and others. His tenure at LifeWay Christian Resources further solidified his understanding of the industry, with leadership roles in channel management and corporate strategic planning within the direct-to-church division, retail, trade publishing, and international and internet divisions.

Derek, his wife Jennifer, and their three children live in Brentwood, Tennessee. The Bell Family loves serving orphans and widows through Both Hands and are active members at Fellowship Bible Church.
