Village Hope International 2023

November 11, 2023 | Zambia, KS

***DONATIONS TO THIS PROJECT WILL BE MATCHED UP TO $2,000!!!***

Village Hope International Ministries, Inc. is an IRS established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We seek to negate the impact of apathy and lack of available services for the under-served population of Zambia and beyond.

Our organization’s projects offer many opportunities to counter poverty and depravity through love and intervention by supporting the development of mind, body, and soul. (In Esther’s words, VHIM does gospel-driven community development work.)

Our immediate goal is to build facilities in rural areas where community members can come and train in small business entrepreneurship, computer skills, knitting, carpentry and much more, to alleviate and break the cycle of poverty.

Recognizing the needs that exist among our target population, Village Hope International Ministries’ staff provides individuals with access to vocational training and educational services that focus on individual empowerment.

Orphans | Zambia

We are raising funds for a roof and windows and doors in the VHIM trade school; school supplies for a children's evangelistic crusade in Lusaka; tea tree starts; airfare for Andre Houssney and his son Ezra to come do workshops on farming and small production initiatives for Ten Thousand Villages or essential oil extraction to generate income for families in Kasempa (Andres has ties to Ten Thousand Villages and has already helped around 1,000 Zambian families generate income by producing soaps, lip balm, and tea tree oil); an essential oil distillery; children's shoes and uniforms; and Ruth's airfare to travel with us to be the glue of our missions trip, our cultural advisor, the interpreter, the project coordinator, and relational connector with her ministry colleagues on the ground in Zambia and those of us traveling there to bring a doctor and coordinate the children's ministry in Lusaka.

This is Carol. She lost her husband to ALS in February 2020. She is living in her home on 26 a res. Her family is helping her take care of things. She loves the Lord and is a long time Nazarene. Since her stroke last year, she has been unable to drive. Your help cleaning up the flower bed and brush will be greatly appreciated.

A Different Kind of Fundraiser

A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help orphans in an impoverished community. Will you sponsor us?

No Administration Fees

We don’t take a penny out of the funds raised for adoption or orphan care for ourselves.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects.

We raise funds for our operations separately through support from donors like you. By supporting Both Hands, you help us serve more adoptive families, bless more widows, and bring even more children into their forever families.
