Crystal Libby
Executive Assistant
Crystal joined the Both Hands team in 2026. Crystal grew up knowing she wanted to one day grow her family through adoption. Four years after getting married, she and her husband Darren took the next steps and have since adopted through foster care, international adoption, and private infant domestic adoption.
In 2015, they completed their own Both Hands project to help bring their daughter home. She’s always loved the mission behind Both Hands and has stayed in touch over the years.
Crystal’s degree is in paralegal technology, and she has worked in the legal field, as well as in executive Assistant/HR roles at various corporations. She’s also volunteered as a Guardian at Litem for vulnerable children in local child protective custody, as well as at local pregnancy centers, nursing homes, and the Special Olympics. She also enjoys serving her local church through the Access Ministry, where they give every child access to the Gospel regardless of ability or diagnosis.
Crystal enjoys educating people on adoption and is passionate about maintaining positive birth family relationships and loves helping others navigate that in a healthy and positive way.
Outside of work she enjoys leading worship and playing music with her husband. She and her husband along with their three children have lived lots of places but currently reside in coastal North Carolina where they spend as much time as possible at the beach.
