$3,000 Matching Grants Available in 2026!

February 23, 2026

At Both Hands, our mission is to live out James 1:27 by serving orphans, widows and Christian adoptive families so that kids find loving, forever homes, and widows are served in tangible ways. We truly believe finances should never be an obstacle for a family who is called to adopt. We do this by helping families organize service projects for widows while raising funds for adoptions.

Since we began, over 1,600 Both Hands projects have raised more than $25 million for adoption and orphan care costs. With the average family raising $23,000 per project, there’s no limit to how much a family can raise. Projects can raise funds for adoption costs, post-adoption needs, or orphan care ministries. No fees are deducted from the funds you raise (we call it our No Admin Fee Guarantee) and we can even reimburse adoptive families for qualified adoption expenses they’ve already paid.

Because we want to help set up projects to be as successful as they can be, we’re excited to offer $3,000 matching grants for projects completed by December 31, 2026. To qualify, projects must be completed by that December 31 deadline, raise at least $3,000 before the matching grant amount is applied, and families must send out at least 200 fundraising letters to friends and family to help raise support for their project (don’t worry – we’ll create a template for you to use to make it even easier!).

(Plus, every approved project will receive an additional $1,000 supply grant provided per project! We encourage you to use these funds towards supplies for the widow’s home and fundraising letter supplies/postage. And don’t forget to reach out to local businesses to ask them for additional project day supply donations!)

Ready to start your project? Apply now to take advantage of this matching offer while it’s still available. We’ll be here to walk with you every step of the way!Start Your Application
