We are Josh and Caitlin Deems. We have been married for almost 13 years and have three children – two biological children and one adopted child. After having personal experiences with children in need as teenagers/young adults we both knew the Lord would lead us to adopt one of our children. This was confirmed when we went on a missions trip together prior to getting married. Our work in pediatric healthcare has only grown our desire to adopt over the years. The Lord blessed us with our third child through adoption. We are excited to take that step again in growing our family and serving another child in need.

Baby Deems
In 2023, we received a call about a baby who was born that day and who needed to be placed with a family immediately. We took a step of faith and brought our son home the next day. The Lord showed us His love in miraculous ways since that day and He has made it clear to us that we will adopt our next child as well. We have received an approved home study and are awaiting placement while we raise funds.
Ms. Faye
Caitlin's great-aunt, Ms. Faye, was widowed almost two years ago. She has limited mobility and requires repairs to the ramp leading into her home, a raised platform in her laundry room to prevent her having to use steps, and most importantly, a new exterior sliding door that is currently broken and is unable to close. She lacks the funds for these repairs, and while our family helps manage these issues, it is necessary for complete repairs and renovations to be done.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help a child to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
