We have been married for 13 years and though we were unable to have kids on our own, God put on our hearts a strong desire to bless a child who needed a loving family. Masha became our adopted daughter in 2025, and we are now pursuing the adoption of her younger sister.

Katya
Masha and Katya were 15- and 11-year-old Ukrainian orphan sisters when we met them in 2021, through international hosting. We had begun the adoption process when war in Ukraine resulted in the suspension of all international adoptions of children from Ukraine. We have visited the girls many times over these 4 years, and finally adopted Masha after she turned 18, which now allows adoption of Katya to proceed under ‘reunification of family.’ Our Home Study is complete and we anticipate submitting our dossier to Kyiv at the end of November.
Ms. Jill
In October of this year, it will be three years since Ms. Jill lost her dear husband, Bill. Ms. Jill lives in an apartment. Health problems have caused challenges with mobility, and the ability to take care of her living space. We are delighted to do a thorough cleaning and organizing of her apartment, adding a few pieces of needed furniture, stocking her pantry with groceries and helping with laundry. Ms. Jill is excited to meet Katya and we are blessed to bring joy and new life into Ms. Jill’s heart.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.
