We are Derek and Kristy! We have been married for 17 years and have three amazing children – Elise (9), Ava (6), and Cameron (2). There is nothing we love more than being their parents. We have always felt that adoption would be a part of our story, and God has been revealing to us in so many ways that now is the time. We are all eager to welcome our son home this year!

We are thrilled to be matched with a 7-year-old boy from Bulgaria with cystic fibrosis. Life for a child with cystic fibrosis is extremely difficult. But, oh, what a difference a forever family will make! Every child deserves the unconditional love of a mother and steadfast love of a father. Glory be to God because our boy will soon have a mommy, a daddy, and three siblings who will stick with him through thick and thin. *Name has been changed in order to protect the child's privacy.
Two Widows
The Weavers are excited to be able to serve two widows from their church congregation through this Both Hands Project. Both sisters in Christ are gracious servants in the Lord’s church. One of them can often be found supporting the grieving, strengthening caregivers, and providing leadership development for young Christian women. She is in need of help tending to her home, specifically the landscaping. The other sweet sister we will be serving is a loving mother who homeschools her young daughters. She is also an excellent Bible class teacher who is especially skilled at teaching young children. She is in need of helping move her young family into a new home with fewer maintenance requirements. What a tremendous honor and blessing to serve these two sweet sisters through this project.
A Different Kind of Fundraiser
A team of volunteers is completing a service project of fixing up a widow's home. We are raising sponsorship for our day of service. The funds raised will help an orphan to become adopted into a forever family. Will you sponsor us?

Your tax-deductible donation is to the 501(c)3 non-profit organization Both Hands Foundation (EIN 26-1879659). In following IRS guidelines, Both Hands’ governing board retains full discretion over the donation’s use, but intends to honor the donor’s suggestion. Both Hands does not charge an administrative fee and raises its operating support separately. Donors that supply their email will receive a tax receipt upon donation. Those who leave it blank will receive a mailed tax receipt at year end, if the donation is $250 or more.

We are committed to doing everything we can to help our Both Hands families afford adoption. That’s why we don't take out any administrative fees from donations to our projects. If a donor chooses not to cover the credit card and processing fees, Both Hands will cover it to ensure 100% of the gift supports the cause.
